Architectural Garden Buildings
Developer-grade builds

SIPS. Crisp Lines.
Predictable Delivery.

A modern envelope system for premium garden rooms and living spaces — engineered for comfort, speed and a cleaner finish. Built to feel permanent. Built to sell.

Premium Spec Comparison

A simple, client-friendly comparison that keeps the message premium: performance is designed into the build system, not left to varying site workmanship.

SIPS System

Panelised structure with an insulated core. Reduced thermal bridging, high potential for airtightness, and cleaner detailing for modern glazing and finishes.

Typical Timber Frame

Performance depends heavily on installation quality. More studs and junctions increase thermal bridging and can reduce consistency of airtightness without meticulous detailing.

Build Process

A clean, developer-style programme overview. Scroll — each stage highlights as you move.

Designed, delivered, finished.

The goal is predictable delivery and a premium finish. Panels arrive ready to install, shell goes up fast, and internal works follow a clean sequence.

Foundations Shell Envelope Finishes

1. Site Survey & Design

Confirm levels, access, specification and glazing intent. Finalise layout and programme.

2. Groundworks & Base

Engineered base prepared for accuracy and longevity. Clean set-out for the panel stage.

3. SIPS Shell Install

Panels installed rapidly with consistent alignment — the key to a premium finished feel.

4. Weatherproof Envelope

Roof system, membranes and detailing to lock-in performance and protect the build.

5. Glazing & External Finish

Doors/windows integrated cleanly. External cladding and trims completed to spec.

6. Internal Fit-Out

Electrics, lighting, plastering and joinery — delivered as a premium, ready-to-use space.

Why SIPS

A Performance-Led Build System
for Premium Sites

We use SIPS because they deliver a cleaner programme, a tighter envelope and a more “permanent” feel. It’s the difference between an outbuilding — and a space that reads like an architectural extension.

Thermal Envelope & Airtight Potential

Continuous insulation and fewer junction weaknesses help deliver stable comfort, lower heat loss and premium usability year‑round.

Faster Shell Stage. Predictable Delivery.

Panelised accuracy accelerates the build sequence, reduces site disruption and improves timeline certainty — ideal for developer schedules.

Structural Rigidity

Composite panels provide a solid, low‑movement structure with a quality feel.

Cleaner Detailing

Tighter tolerances support modern glazing, crisp lines and high‑end finishes.

Reduced Thermal Bridging

Less interruption to insulation compared with stud‑heavy systems.

Typical panel

Structural insulated panel core build‑up.

Shell programme

Faster shell stage (typical project range).

Thermal bridging

Reduced bridging vs stud‑dominant builds.

Perfect for proposals, site visits and developer presentations.

Why We Don’t Use Timber Frame

Timber frame can be a good solution — but for premium garden buildings and living spaces, the outcome is often more variable. We prefer SIPS because the performance is engineered into the system, not left to chance on site.

  • Less thermal bridging (studs interrupt insulation repeatedly).
  • More consistent airtightness potential with fewer junction compromises.
  • Cleaner finish quality thanks to tighter tolerances and straighter walls.
  • Better programme certainty via panelised shell delivery.
